Suncore Builds for the Future

Suncore was proud to participate in the 2025 Built for the Future event in Grand Junction, Colorado, held at the Mesa County Fairgrounds and sponsored by the Western Colorado Contractors Association (WCCA) and the Home Builders Association (HBA).

This annual event brings together more than 250 high school students from local Careers in Construction programs for a day of hands-on learning with industry professionals. Suncore gave students the unique opportunity to operate an excavator and experience what it’s like behind the controls of heavy equipment.

The event connects students directly with experts across multiple trades—from welding and wiring to framing and utility locating—helping them explore diverse paths within the construction industry.

Through its involvement, Suncore continues its commitment to developing the next generation of builders and strengthening the future of our workforce.
