Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Completion of Grand Junction Intersection Upgrade

City leaders, project partners, and Suncore team members recently gathered to mark the completion of the Grand Junction intersection improvement project. The work wrapped up on time after 130 working days and delivered meaningful upgrades to one of the busiest areas in the city.

Crews completed asphalt removal and excavation, placed new concrete paving and sidewalks, installed pedestrian lighting conduit, median cover, and nearly 4,000 linear feet of curb and gutter. In total, the improvements represent a $3.99 million investment.

Throughout construction, traffic kept moving with peak flows of roughly 500 vehicles per hour. Strong feedback from the community reflects the skill and planning that went into the project. It is a clear example of how our teams deliver quality work while keeping people safe and minimizing disruption.
